OCTOBER 18, 2013

On Friday, October 18th, Design Exchange was transformed into a hotbed of design for its second annual DX INTERSECTION fundraiser. Over 800 guests from art, fashion, design and society joined this year’s GameChangers Byron and Dexter Peart of WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie at a party inspired by the world’s best markets.

From the party’s entrance converted into an outdoor flower market supplying guests flower crowns and paper wrapped bouquets to the Trading Floor’s gritty underground market complete with 3D projections of the aurora borealis designed by Common Good, to the Pop-Up street market by La Carnita and Home of the Brave in the library, and the sounds of acclaimed electronic dance quartet Azari & III, this year’s DXI offered enchantment at every corner. Guests were captivated by the incredible Castor light installation presented by GE Monogram, as well as incredible music by Sennheiser and Embrace Presents.
