Our school tours and hands-on workshops are designed to enhance core curriculum courses and topics from both secondary and elementary grades.

Our workshops encourage students to become creative problem-solvers and design thinkers as they engage in the design process through active observation, real-life applications, and hands-on design activities.

Radio/ Active is an initiative that showcases the history of Canadian designed and manufactured radio technology, pulled from the DX archives and Permanent Collection. Through hands-on workshops, this program traces the development of sound and communications practices within Canada, beginning with radio technology developed during World War II, into the furniture-like sound systems of the 1960’s, and to today’s current revisit to radio programming through podcasting.

Workshops Include:

Radio Drama and Graphic Design
