Annual Corporate Patronage

DX Annual Corporate Patrons are vital partners of the museum. Patronage provides the DX with the financial support required for annual operational expenses.

Positioned as Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to design, the new Design Exchange represents the current reality of contemporary culture – a merging of design disciplines and creative pursuits.

It is a space where designers defy nomenclature and title and where design of all stripes come together in an unprecedented explosion of creativity. Exhibitions feature internationally celebrated designers; provocative talks provide a stage for world-renowned design stars and canadian design heroes - past, present and future; and overall content reflects the popular zeitgeist.

Good design affects us all, regardless of age. Youth education programs include tours and workshops and design camps for children. Competitions encourage teens and college/university level students to embrace best practices of design and its importance to the public realm; and a nationwide multidisciplinary competition provides the emerging designer with a platform and opportunity for exposure and celebration of their work.

By becoming an Annual Corporate Patron, it means that you, too, believe in the importance of the community of design, and the existence of an institution like the design exchange in Canada to foster and support its growth and vitality. Your support directly helps us to collectively realize this goal.

Annual corporate patronage is available on three levels, and benefits are available on a 12-month basis, and outlined as follows.

 

Options:

1. Corporate friend

$5,000 contribution


Marketing/Branding

- Identified as a corporate patron on lobby signage.

- Branded as annual corporate patron on DX website.

Admission

- Unlimited access to all museum exhibitions for 2 card members.

- 2 invitations per talk.

- 2 invitations per exhibition openings and/or curator-led tours.

- 4 tickets to be used for DX Intersection (maximum of 2 VIP) and/or exhibition opening receptions.

 

2. Corporate supporter

$10,000 contribution


Marketing/Branding

- Identified as a corporate patron on lobby signage.

- Branded as annual corporate patron on DX website.

- Editorial feature in INDX eblast, sent to 30,000 subscribers.

Admission

- Unlimited access to all museum exhibitions for 2 card members

- 2 invitations per vip private viewing (where applicable.)

- 2 invitations per openings and/or curator-led tours.

- 10 tickets to be used for DX Intersection (maximum of 2 VIP) and/or exhibition opening receptions. - one private viewing per exhibition over 12-month period for your guests on nights when the exhibition is normally closed (i.e. Monday to Wednesday or Sunday). Hard costs are additional with discount on additional rentals.

 

3. Corporate patron

$25,000 contribution


Marketing/Branding

- Identified as a corporate patron on lobby signage.

- Branded as annual corporate patron on DX website.

- Editorial feature in indx eblast, sent to 30,000 subscribers.

- Other creative and unique positioning opportunities as they arise

- Social media promotion – ie twitter and facebook promotions.

Admission

- Unlimited access to all museum exhibitions for 4 card members

- 2 invitations per curator-led tours.

- Invitations to designer talks.

- 20 tickets to be used for either DX Intersection (maximum of 4 VIP) and/or exhibition opening receptions.

- One private viewing per exhibition over 12-month period for your guests on nights when the exhibition is normally closed (i.e. Monday to Wednesday or Sunday). Hard costs are additional with discount on additional rentals.

- One complimentary rental of trading floor or other museum space for private event. Hard costs are additional with discount on additional rentals.

Legacy

$5,000 will be donated to the permanent collection for acquisition purposes.
