The Design Exchange presents conferences as part of its program, to provide an environment for networking and information-sharing between design professionals, business, academics and government.

Design Exchange launched a National Design Conference in 2005. The next conference is scheduled for 2007

digifest 2006 has gone MOD!

The fifth annual international festival of design and digital culture consisting of 40 + presenters. This conference takes place over four days with panel discussions, workshops, performance, exhibits both on-line and on-site. Digifest is presented by DX in partnership with Harbourfront Centre and Ontario Science Centre. The 2006 Theme is ŚModsą which refers to modification of products, buildings, fashion, etc. Previous additions have included the Telefilm Canada new voices call for submissions, an on-line education resource, on-line showcases and design installations influenced by new technologies.
